Endless Legend dead-silence

I know that with a recent release of Endless Space 2 all of Amplitude's resources and attention go to the "youngest child" (I have a great time with it by the way), but it would be great to hear something about future of Endless Legend, if it is any. Bug fixes first of all. And my hope: heroes issue, expansion?: more heroes diversity, clones solution, maybe new victory academy/hero questline (epic path to self-knowledge, ascendance and salvation:)). Devs, if you can write anything, that you are aware of issue and we just need some patience, it would be enough for now:). Don't leave Auriga in that shape for stars!:). All the best to the Amplitude team, you do a great job!

I love Endless Legend, however, I do feel like the game is finally complete.  It's in a state right now where with all the expansions and DLC it has filled out every part of its design.  Only thing from here would be to go for EL2.  But I think it's way too soon for that.  EL is still fun and competetive and offers a unique experience in the market.

The only thing I can think we could add would be custom skins for the units and heroes to add more flavor.  But I wouldn't want anymore additional systems.

Of course there is always bug fixing and balance passes though.  Nothing wrong in keeping that up.

I'm truly excited to hear what Amplitude's next project will be though!

Amplitude definitely said Dungeon of the Endless is feature complete and would only be getting bug fixes, if needed.

There weren't any plans for more expansions for Endless Legend so I doubt it will be getting any new content.

I remember from some old interview that Amplitude was working on ES2 mainly and some other project. So there's at least one announcement to look forward to!

from what I remember no real expansions are planned for endless legend at this point, maybe we get some smaller updates like the make "war not love" update but nothing is promised.

what else, I had a post before about the heroes but the devs responded that there where no plans for more heroes or art, simple bug fixes might happend but that was almost a year ago.

If there are enough complaints about a particular bug/crash, then it will be fixed for sure, but at the moment, I believe everyone and I do mean EVERYONE is working on ES2.

Endless Legend is complete. All that is left is fixing resource allocation between land and sea that Tempest kind of screws up.

I'd be happy with just some bug fixes. It feels like they've done about as much as they can with EL.

If they can stop the AI making ships in lakes - even if that means making sure nobody can build ships in lakes  - that would be a huge improvement.

Aside from polish, the only thing Endless Legend really needs badly is coping with its own perfection. Because it's a damn fine, arguably perfect game.  At the very least it snatched Civilization's crown off its head and evicted Heroes of Might and Magic from its house and moved in and drank all of its beer.

There really was almost nothing else for Amplitude to do except go back and reiterate on Endless Space which, while a very good game in its own right, was from a time when Amplitude was only starting to blossom and wasn't a true AAA title in production value.

(Okay, yeah, the EL A.I. is loltastic and hopefully E.N.F.E.R. will see fit to help it out someday for a sequel)

I suspect it will get some attention when ES 2 has had a couple of bug crushing balance passes and some additional content.

So I find this statement somewhat shocking. As somebody who is pretty hardcore about startegy titles I can certainly tell you 1 thing right of the bat that this game is missing, that has been a standard feature in strategy games since the 90's and for some weird reason isn't in Endless Legend. Allied Vision by default. This is a standard feature of strategy titles and makes the game way more fun if you are playing with friends. Othewise, one of you is just sitting there waiting for the other to  finish every single turn.

Chill your cats man. It's a diplomatic option. Doesn't cost much.

I agree that EL is feature complete as it is but it could use some balance fixes and polish in some areas.

They have released 6 DLC's so far. This should have been in the game on release. This is some of my frustartion. I want this game to succeed, but such a core feature missing makes it difficult to make it a hit. I want to play this with friends and such, but so much of the fun comes from seeing what my allies are building, or their battles. Otherwise you might as well be playing single player.

Auriga has turned barren, (literally, a Barren type planet these days) and it saddens me so. Once so alive, now so dead. With that, however...the new must take precedence. Please Endless Space 2, go on sale!!!
