I would appreciate any advice on how to get out of the trap I have made for myself;



I set the victory conditions to domination/elimination. I am playing as Roving Clans. I am basically tied with the Phages and Wild Walkers. I have the military might to succeed, but I cannot get either of them to declare war on me, no matter how much pillaging, trade banning and warnings I issue. So, I have set the conditions to win by military means, but cannot start a war to achieve victory. Any ideas?

As an aside, I find it strange that the Necrophages are always at war, but I can't declare war on them!

More specifically, Attempt to blot out the sun.



-Build up like, 3-4 mercenary armies.

-SURROUND them with your own units as best as you are able. Block enemy empire access to the mercs (so the only way to get to them is through you.)

-Surround their city with your army and siege with your mercs. Destroy the city with the mercs, then attack any enemy units in the now neutral territory with your army.

Step 1: Queue up a bunch of units in each city but do not complete them. Instead queue another unit and move it to the front of the production line so that you have w/e your garrison limit is of units that will build in 1 turn.

Step 2: Sell all your units.

Step 3: Buyout any/all useful strats and luxuries.

Step 4: Wait for AI to declare war

Step 5: Complete all the unit builds in all the cities.
