Yeah, I've looked into it because I wanted to make that very mod myself. Unfortunately how the random faction works is surprisingly complex, and there isn't an easy fix.

Amplitude knows we want it. Since Endless Space alpha. But they're very selective in listening to fans.



Be glad you can see anomalies on the map since Guardians! And maybe hope one day you could actually use stockpiles.

This wasn't on the improve list so I've added it. It would be a handy little addition, yes.



edit: oh sorry, turn out it was on the improve list, just buried. It's one of those things we'd all like to have but which tends to get pushed back by more pressing issues. I'll keep an eye on it, make sure it doesn't get buried again.

Sometimes I don't want duplicates too.

Easy trick : when I play a 8 players game, I choose factions of IA (with no duplicate). So this not ramdom, but it's no duplicate smiley: wink
