To my mind it will be better for in-game process to have more than 1 avatar for every of unit of each faction. For example for Priest of Broken Lord there must be more avatars. Why? Of course for more variation of unit with using of different weapons. And now there is some problem with identificating of created in game units in the window of town. When you have 6 or 8 variation of for example Priest or other single unit (for example with different rings), it becomes sometimes difficult to choose right unit for building. It takes some more time.

What he's trying to say is: it can be difficult to differentiate between Stalwart 3, SwordGuyPwnz 1, TanknSpank 5, and that fourth Stalwart variant he created to have accessories to help him kill those stupid Forgotten when they all have the same icon when choosing what to produce in town. If there were a number of preset looks to choose from, rather than just a single icon, it would make things easier to differentiate.



I'm down for it, though I realize, at this point in development, it isn't likely to happen. Maybe they'll consider it for ES2?
