I just noticed that Technolover can give huge potential rewards the better your equipment gets. Initially, MF tanks or cavalry might be superior, but is it worth using them in the long-run?

While it is true that MF units do not benefit from technolover, which single handedly makes the Vaulters a competitive military force, some MF fill gaps which exist in the Vaulter military.



For instance, Eyeless Ones provide healing. Nidya provide a cheap, fast flyer which can be used both tactically as well as a scout. In addition, Geldirus, Gauran, and others have winter immunity and so can be used in winter strike teams.

Technolover can be very good, particularly once you equip your units with T3 strats. But T3+ strats are in high demand. There won't be enough to equip every unit you have with strategics and keep your holy resource activated-- particularly, as your empire expands.

Indeed; I've been using half Mithrite and half Hyperium gear - and lately I had to use some non-T3 gear mixed in as well. And I switch between Mithrite and Hyperium as Holy Resource.

True, I almost always use Nidya (the Initiative bump is nice as well), and I use the re-vamped Sisters for healing (Eyeless are better healers likely, but they look so awful).
