Hi new player to the game and so far I'm enjoying the game immensely!



One thing I guess I don't understand is why there is a limit to buying only 10 resources in the market? By closing the market screen and then reopening it it is possible to then buy another 10 resources is this WAD as it is seems like a lot of micromanaging for a game that seems to pride itself on making things simple?

You can buy them in batches of 10, you don't need to close and reopen the screen. Just keep hitting the buy button.



If you're wondering "Why can I only buy 10 versus 50 in one go"...the answer is that the market reacts to supply and demand, prices go up as quantity on the market goes down. Which means they don't want you to buy 100 at a super low price -- each time you buy 10 the price will increase because there's less available and there's been more interest in the commodity. But if people put more on the market and/or time passes, the price will drop again (note: if the market has over 100 of a commodity, the price will not start increasing until it drops below 100).
