Console commands to skip a "broken" Broken Lords quest?

I've tried searching for this but no joy:

Is there a console command/cheat for skipping quest steps or marking them as achieved?

Because I've been stuck on the Broken Lords quest 5, 'A False Redemption' for I don't know how many turns.

Literally, I've lost track, but it's been at least 3 winter seasons.

BTW, this is a dreadful quest line. I have to find and capture or raze the city of Idyna, a randomly selected city on a randomly generated map, clearly chosen without any reference to where it lies in relation to my territory.

I've no idea where it is, but it's certainly nowhere near my regions and quite possibly in the lands of a powerful faction with whom I'm at peace.

Did whoever designed these quests (and I'm including stuff like Ardent Mages "found a city now, in a certain kind of area, whether it's convenient for you or not, and screw you if, knowing this quest was coming up, you avoided settling the ideal area and that region's now been claimed by someone else" quest) ever actually play them to make sure they weren't irritating as all hell?

So yeah, console commands? Or do I just ragequit and seriously consider never playing Broken Lords again? Because this was actually my first real try with them and it was fun until this nonsense started.

You could have tried mapchange with the allied faction you are writing, to find out about the location of requested city i.e. !?

Well you can use a cheat code to do so but it will complete all your pending quests :/

If it does interest you anyway you will have to launch the game with the steam option: --enablemoddingtools

Then launch your save and tap on your keyboard "enter" in order to have access to the chat box.

The cheat code is: /ForceCurrentQuestsCompletion

I hope it helps.

Minor proble though; Hitting "enter" doesn't enable a chat box for me. Any ideas please?

Yeah, the Broken Lord's quests are kinda infamous. If you think that's bad, wait until you see the next part of the quest and the reward.

It's still eventually doable, though, not actually broken. That's the Drakken chain.
