Forgotten early game pillaging?

Does anyone have any tactics for early game pillaging as forgotten? My main tactics currently is 6x Myst (one turrn pillage on extractors) that means era 2 and a huge fall behind on everything else.. Is there anything except unit number that boosts units pillaging power? Thanks

There is a glassteel accessory that can be equipped on heroes, which boosts pillaging power. So you could theoretically equip your hero with that item (tier 1), with some assassins to carry out some very early pillaging (whether that's productive or not is another matter).

Early pillage is not rewarding. It cost you a lot of turns, a lot of upkeep, so a lot of growth slodown, to do it, but the reward is tiny. It's tinny because the reward mainly depends of the era.



It's a missconception. Era I raid should give you a good reward, same as era II at least.



If I were the devs, I would have taken the "faster pillage" glassteal item from strategic items technology to raid/detection technology (the level 1 item I mean, not the 2).



As the forgottens have this tech by default, it could open then to faster and more interesting raid at early game. In the same idea, I would give an era II reward to any era I pillage.







This was my smalls suggestions to stimulate the Forgottens true funny gameplay.

+1 this would make for a nice buff for the Forgotten IMO.
