Is cooperative victory too easy? Shared victory is described as, when one player wins, all her allies win.  This says to me that if one player goes for a diplomatic victory, then, due to the nature of how diplomatic victory works (being in alliance) everyone on said alliance will win.  This means 4 players can make a game where all they do is ally and press End Turn and win, right?

I'm not trying to complain, I'm trying to figure out how to approach cooperative games so they aren't too easy.  And also figure out if diplomatic victory is always the easiest so that perhaps we should try a different one.  I know the game was not balanced around shared victories, but I am hoping someone has some experience in this arena.  Thanks.

Oh, I should post some ideas.

Like if 3 of us want to play a cooperative game maybe we could try: 3 vs 5 (that would mean for diplo victory, we must have other allies; it would basically be a game of survival).  Maybe we should said the game difficulty higher than normal as well.
