How do you build special equips? I'm playing as the vaulters and I am currently on the 4th faction quest. I need to use a hero equipped with the deep diviner insignia/accessory to search some ruins in order progress in the quest. It says to "get more details in the Hero equipment screen" and that I'll need my holy resource to activate it, but I cannot for the life of me find any way to build it. I've tried activating a booster using my holy resource, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

Is the item just not implemented yet or am I missing something? I have a ranged, a melee, and a support hero, so I don't think it is a problem with none of my heroes being allowed to equip it, especially because it is an accessory. Has anyone finished this quest in the vaulter quest line?

I figured it out, I apparently needed to have the tier 1 accessories unlocked to be able to build it

I understand that the tooltip should be a bit more explicit. Will look into this.

I'm having some trouble with this too. I'm currently in the 4th age, and have Tier 2 accessories unlocked with all resources available, but can't find a way to equip/build the thing.

Did you also researched TIER 1 accessories ? The game may be only checking for that particuliar tech.

I have the item but i cant equip it. I put it in one accesory slot, click Apply, and bum, Deep Diviner is not there.

There's a bug that prevents you from filling all your accessory slots. At least for me, there is.

I figured it out. I had researched all the tier 1 accessories up to and including Era 4, but it still wasn't showing up. Turns out the Deep Diviner is considered "obsolete" once you get to the next set of resources.

Yes, don't forget to "uncheck" the "hide obsolete" and "hide missing resources".

That must be a bug O_o

You just have to click on the name and you have a drop-down list of the 4 available factions.

The tool tip lacks any information on the item besides its name, which means you have no idea what technology you need for it or that you even need one. The hint with the holy element is misleading on top of that, because titanium might or might not be your holy element. And on top of it the quest text does not mention that the item can only be used by vaulter heros. Took me ages checking the hero's equipment screen with different heros until I gave up and just googled it. Found this topic that way. ;-)

Lasty the price is a little odd, but ok, this might be simply because it is a quest step payment.

So to recap:

You need the tier 1 accessories technology.

You need a vaulter hero to equip the item.

And you might need to check under obsolete items to find it.

The item is kind of expensive, so if your low on resources checking "missing resource" might be an idea if you can not find still.
