I haven't been following development closely so I wasn't aware the Cultists was designed in large part by the community. I'd like to offer a shout-out "THANK YOU" to Nosferatiel and the artists involved, as well as to Amplitude for and the community at large for having chosen them... I don't even know what the alternatives would have been, but the Cultists are *so* well designed, they OOZE that Amplitudish tradition of lore-wise interesting factions that was started off so well already with Endless Space.

Loved Jeff's enthusiasm in the focus video, and there's definitely looks to be something to be enthusiastic about! Here's to hoping that Endless Legend will stand as a benchmark years from now for other strategy games to be measured against, having 'stood the test of time' alongside other Legends like Civilization and Master of Orion.

The art video is so beautiful. I have never wanted an art book in my entire life but I want one with endless legend art! And I am crappy at even understanding myself why it is so nice. I mean for me it throws me back into my old roleplaying books and monster manual of d&d and such art style, but even then it is something more..and I cannot explain this something more. I mean it was the first thing that hit me the first time I loaded up EL. So there has to be something that is instantly understood. Can someone please give some words to why the art is so beautiful.

That was an nice and interesting video. And there were a lot of cool pictures. I hope we can get our hands on them some day.
