If we follow the lore, Auriga suffer a cataclysm (in the form of an eternal winter), and other races where forced to take off from his mother planet, or die with her. Since the Vaulters where added to Endless Space 2, we can expect that other races survied as well (a boy can hope, at least). In Endless Space 1, we can find a hero Broken Lord, mourning for being the last of his race (but I think the lore from that game was re-written in ES2). So, anything is possible, BUT:

The Allayi are deeply connected to Auriga, would they be capable of surviving outside? My take is that no, they follow the same fate as their homa planet, but what do you think?
