Everything comes to an end, Endless Legend has run its course, it got more than its fair share of expansions and DLC/

Time for the devs to focus on more content for ES2 and after that focus on making Endless Legend 2

I think EL has had a pretty good run with it’s massive amount of updates, patches and DLC. And although it would be dope to have more for EL, I think a majority, if not all, of the Amplitude team is focused on content for ES2 (which, I personally believe is the right thing).

We probably won’t get news about another Endless game till 2019, but if we’re lucky it could be EL2, only time will tell

One final patch on known bugs would be welcome. There's a reproducible movement bug, and a clear issue with the AI building ships in lakes (which should just be removed as an option for anyone).

Known bugs: AI building in lakes, Cultists trading for cities, movement bug, Allayi luxury booster bonus affecting stockpiles.

Endless space 2 is for me the clear proof that they reached full maturity in 4X game design. I'd love to see what they could do for an endless legend 2 !  why haven't we heard of it yet ! (ok I'm spoiled but you made me Amplitude !)

I know the devs are busy with ES2 but I really loved EL. I prefer Endless Legends over ES2. Was really hoping if the devs could release further content or new dlc for it.

Is there any scope for future developments for Endless legends?

I would have liked to see some of the more obnoxious bugs get patched before the curtain closed.

I regularly get a bug that results in a negative "production left" value and freezes the production queue. This occurs on every turn following an empire plan which included +33% Building Production Cost Reduction on Cities (Science and Industry II) and/or +20% Unit Production Cost Reduction on CIties (Military I). It seems to stem from a building or unit whose production cost is only met due to the cost reduction, which seems to be factored into the equation after the production value is applied to the construction, resulting in a negative value. The production will be stuck at 1 turn left and the progress bar will be completely full, and this will never move forward.

i.e. Public Granary (250 industry cost) would get stuck if the progress was at 200/250 before the -33% modifier was applied. The end result would be 200/168, which results in a negative value of -32/168 on the beginning of the following turn. At least this is how I believe it gets hung up. Sadly, if left unnoticed this will infinitely consume your industry production for that city until it is fixed by reorganizing and buying out the remaining 0 Dust for the construction (which I assume forces the value from -32/168 to 0/168, resulting in the construction complete trigger/resolution).

P.S. If I am the only one who encounters this error, I would like to know.

EDIT: It is also possible that there is a trigger that asks "is current industry > required industry? True or False" but does so before the -33% or -20% (respectively) is applied to "required industry". In this case though, it seems the next turn would simply trigger the "True" response, so my guess is the industry production value is constantly being subtracted from a negative number, resulting in an endless industry sink.

In my example this would be, assuming industry production = 100 per turn. Turn 21: -32/168; Turn 22: -132/168; Turn 23: -232/168; etc.

Could it be that those building that are in the constructrion queue can be built only once in the empire or for the units, that your city cant hold any more in them.

No. None of that is the case.

Have you tried documenting these details in the community path thread? (In the modding section.)

Thanks for the advice. I first assumed it was a result of workshop mods, but none of those mess with the underlying mathematics or formulas and the problem persists without mods. I will see if a reinstall fixes the issue before proceeding any further.
