Hi everybody.

I actualy make a Role play campain in the endless legend universe, and I want to make something with the winter.

But I have no idea of the duration of the winter or more recently dust eclipses in real time.

how long is the winter, month, years, decades? Is the winter is constant during the dark season or is just very long with short summer?

I tend to think that a turn is like 1 to 3 months.

well it can't be too much because as far as I know, story relevant characters such as the leader well, usually don't die from age, so you could count a game of 300 turns to never be more than uh, 20-30 years considering they're all adults from the start? (you can assume this because Vaulters clearly are human or at least very human-like)

Edit: And as for the narrative, I'd suggest you come up with a timespan on your own. strictly sticking to a given time just limits you when trying to narrate a story, and it won't hurt the entire story if the winter is longer/shorter than it would be when considering the "canon" of the game doesnt exactly imply a timespan itself.

for the characters, don't forget the 'immortals leaders" in civilizations game^^.

You canot build an empire in 20-30 years, I always think, 1 turn, 1 year.

winter should probalily like those of game of thrones.

The Vaulter Leader in ES2 is the same person as EL, and she looks to be about 20-30 years older in ES2. So 1 turn is 1-3 months. Although, she is a dust enhanced person of a special Bloodline so maybe it much longer. like 100-300 years (if one year is one turn).

During the Endless Space 2 Vaulter main quest it is said that the leader has a very long and unusual lifespan. However it is not clear if that is the result of Dust, the Zolya bloodline or both.
