No the spores have not infected my brain. Really they are helping, we're bestest friends... you all can be too.

One of us... One of us... One of us... One of us... One of us... One of us...

I have been granted permission to share the beta of both Symbiosis and Penumbra with all of you.

I intend to run a series on both factions so we can explore their functionality throughout the game.
If you have any questions please leave them in the comments on the video or right here.
I am more likely to see them as comments, I am active on a lot of different sites and don't always get back around as often as I would like.

Most Importantly

Thank you Amplitude & NGD.

Truly NGD has a good idea of what makes Endless, Endless.
The Mykara function so very uniquely that they don't realistically compare well to the Cultist (even though both are limited to a single city).
The Urkans are lore rich and provide additional force projection for military units, support empires going tall (which also greatly aids the Cultists), and provides an interesting way to harass enemies by impacting the overall production of their regions. In addition I particularly appreciate the Mykara unit design, as they start with ranged casters, gain dual wield skirmishers, and then large tanks capable of rooting their army composition options are vast especially combined with minor units.

Taking advantage of this praise post, I'll drop some praises too.

Endless Legend is my favorite game of all time, and I have a lot to thank Amplitude team. But seeing a South American team as good as the big ones in the US or in Europe makes me feel proud (even if we have a soccer rivalry).

Congratulations NGD guys for getting the feeling of what an Endless game is and giving us these amazing updates! I'm really looking forward to being able to play Symbiosis!

I hear that, a long long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away lived a closed-minded gamer who felt indie games were largely incomplete.
One day he played Endless Legend, realized it was a more entertaining and engaging experience than big AAA Civilization 5.
I have been a huge supporter of Amplitude, G2G, and the community ever since ;)

Yea I am impressed by NGD adding their twist and ideas while still preserving the identity of EL, must not have been an easy feat.

Great job, the expansion adds a lot to an already rich game.

I haven't yet completed the main questline but so far I think it's superior in terms of keeping me interested than even some of the ones Amplitude made, so that definitely adds to the uniqueness of the faction's mechanics.

Hey guys,

I am glad that you feel the way we do about NGD ^^  It has been great to work with them, and they have done an amazing job at keeping the feel of the original game.

From the lore point of view, we worked with the designers to figure out how to integrate this weird new faction into all the old lore that we already had... not a simple job. Kudos also to our guy StoryEngine, who wrote and designed the quest with Kassapa. For once I got the easy part--mostly I just stood and cheered from the sidelines!

To be more precise, I did nothing on the faction quest content other than talk it over with StoryEngine. But he has done a lot of the best ones in our games--Necrophages, United Empire, Riftborn, Umbral Choir ... My job in this case is brainstorming, plus being responsible for the overall mastery of this multi-tentacled beast that is our lore :)
