I can't get the Art book to be installed via steam. I've read up on the issue in the Steam forums, and I've searched here (sorry if I don't see a solution in an obvious place).

I've unchecked/rechecked the dlc. I've uninstalled and clicked the link through the Steam forums.

I really want this artbook. Is there no chance of it being hosted as a download from the Endless Legend website or here? It is free for all owners of the game,  no?

Any help getting this would be appreciated.

Don't mean to insult your intelligence here, but are you sure you don't have it? Mine is in a folder named "Artbook" that's in ... well, here's the complete path (I'm on a Mac):

[username] > Library > Application Support > Steam > steamapps > common > Endless Legend > Artbook

If you're on a PC I reckon you can still find your "Steam" folder and go from there.

I'm asking because, even though I DO have the artbook, it DOES NOT appear in the list of DLC, and I thought that maybe this is what's confusing you. (Same deal as with the Soundtrack, actually ...)

I've tried everything on both the steam discussions and here. Multiple clean installs, full restarts and checking and unchecking. The Folder 'Artbook' has never appeared. I love the game, I liked it so much I got most of my guild to play it with me. None of them has been able to get the artbook, however, we all want the artbook. The art style of the game is clean and elegant, we like that.

Just send me the PDF. Simple. I paid for the game for myself and 3 brothers, several others also bought it. E-mail it to me and/or set up a link to obtain it. This jumping through hoops is nonsense.

Unfortunately, the artbook is a very large file, so sending it is not as easy as it sounds.

I remember having some issues downloading it myself back in the day. For some odd reason, unchecking and re-checking the DLC on the details page of the game did not work. I had to do it in the DLC tab of the properties window for it to take. I have no idea why it was like that for me, though, so it may not solve your issue.

If I find out anything else about this problem, I'll let you know.

It can't be larger than my GIS files. I'm throwing Terabytes around. Just Filemail it to me. Simple solution.
