see title. i like the auriga map because having a canon map of auriga is nice in my opinion, but the thing that annoys me the most is the fact that i can't have all of the factions on the map, as the amount of players is restricted to 8 on the auriga map. this makes sense with the vanilla game, as it only allows for 8 factions at maximum to be on a map.

however, i use ELCP. ELCP allows for more faction slots, enough so that you can put all factions on the map if you so desire.

or a random map, anyways.

with auriga, however, it doesn't allow me to have more than 8 factions, and since there's 13 major factions on the auriga map, it isn't possible with the auriga map im using to add said factions. in particular im dissapointed that the forgotten and kapaku aren't given proper spawn points, because those factions are pretty neat (and to be honest me using transfem icon skya keeper dabuo ofosu as my profile picture is a strong indicator of that. she's just amazing, okay?)

anyways, back to the point. i was wondering if there was a modified version of the auriga map that allowed for 13 major factions to be on the map, with start positions corresponding to their positions on the map. placing these factions shouldn't be too hard, either! the DLC factions all seem to only have one territory (the drakken are the only base game faction to have only one. trust me, i checked the map ingame, the drakken start point is indeed a single region), as indicated by the lack of colour variants seen in their territories compared to larger factions such as the roving clans or the broken lords.

if not, uh.. how do i make a map with additional start points? i've never made a custom map for endless legend before
