I watched one of the gameplay videos on youtube and it looked like a lot of the combat time was spent watching units go through basic move-and-attack animations very, very slowly. Any chance they'll be sped up? Is there an option to do that?

I wish for this as well. Will help a lot in MP battles later or single players who have seen all the animations before.
