artistic inconsistency with weapons

So one thing which irks me (although perhaps not enough to stay away from the game) is the artistic homogeneity of the character equipment. A BL Ryder uses the same hammer as a Dredge or a Tenei Walker (or potentially can if you so choose).



The man-hours required to produce unique assets for each race are probably enormous, but I was curious to know if the devs were looking into a change to this artistic snafu.



EDIT: Unless this is in fact already implemented and I've just been seeing things incorrectly in the let's plays.

we had long talks about it, we decided that the weapon you were wearing should be recognized by all, though each weapon family type has a style linked to a faction mastering the use of that material (by lore).

for instance titanium weapons are vaulters style...
