Where are my reward items?

First off, LOVING this game. I think I'm going to lose a lot of time to this this summer

I can't believe this is only alpha, wow.

Question, I completed a quest and got a sword of I assume it is for heroes to equip. I'm wild walkers and only have 1st ranged guy. Can he equip it? If so, where do I find it?

Also, my hero and units have "Capacities". I see what they are called, how do I figure out what they do?

Update, finally bought a new hero and put him in my capital. How do I get him out of it and into an army?

you won't be able to equip that sword on that Hero as he is an archer, yet you should be able to equip it on other melee units.

Unassign him in the city screen, create an army, select the army on the world map, then assign the hero directly to the army. But beware, you cannot move heroes around, endlessly. They get a 5-turn-movement ban after you do such a reassignment.

Yeah just figured that out and tried to hid my ignorance by deleting the post

What about Units Capacities?

The meritocratic promotion tech in age II allows you an upgrade on that. Later on you get even more upgrades, I'm sure, but I do not remember the name.

Are you talking about upgrading unit Capacities, meaning gaining new ones?

For example, my drider unit has a capacity called cocoon. What does that mean or do? I can have it support another unit in battle, I just don't know what effect it gives.

Both my heroes also have last stand capacity. Not sure what that means or does. How can I find out what they are and how to use them?

…except for some reason all I get is a redacted document with lots of cool pictures but no text except for the verbiage at the very end that talks about copyrights, etc. Any other places where a lurker might find the user manual?

Also,

1. Can I get level two armors and weapons without researching level 1?

2. Is the marketplace the only way to get new heroes?

3. How do I level up a city center? Do I build a bouroughs on top of it? And how can I tell the level of the city?

4. Any way to improve "happiness" without building things like sewers?

1) dunno, never done that

2) yep. I'd like to have more ways to get heroes.

3) To level a city center you need to put 4 burrough around it (it was 6 before, now it's 4. It may change in the future)

4) Anomalies.

For 1) Yes, you can. Once had lvl 3 weapons and armors without researching either lvl 1 or 2.

I got a Drakenvest from one of my quests. Where is it and how do I equip it? I have 3 heroes, 2 ranged 1 infantry. it is not in my armory / hero inspection.

Are their cavalry and flying heroes?

Can we get heroes from ruins? Buying them is bloody expensive.

Can we build equipment for our heroes? I'm chronically short on dust.
