So I was looking to buy a hero from the market place and saw a vaulter one with decent stats and range (which i need to complement my Necrophages) but I saw they have the Technolover perk. I know the perk adds 50% bonus stats from equipment from your chosen 'holy resource' but if you're not naturally a vaulter and cant chose such a resource is this perk nullified?

Yes, it is nullified.

And, it's not 50%, it's 35%. Unless the tooltip is wrong...
