Well, the big branch update finally "hit the shelves" and I was finally able to record some footage



As usual, it is a mix between a regular playthrough and a tutorial. I will try to teach you about some of the mechanics of Ardent Mages and share some hints but this video is not as strict as a full-blown tutorial would be. So I call it a mix of the two

Also, turn annotations on because I had to correct some of the things I said that were not entirely true.









The thumbnail is temporary, until Amplitude shares some more high-res artwork.

Has anyone worked out how to use the magics in battle, and what each spell does??? There doesn't seem to be a description

Go to around 35:10 minute mark in this video - that's when I talk about combat spells. Turn on annotations as well

In short though, from left to right, the 5 battle spells are: extra defence, extra attack, stun, AoE attack, AoE heal.

Awesome video tutorials! I started playing the EA after watching your overview tutorial, it really helped me get an idea of the games mechanics. I tried playing the ardent mages blind and played up until the game crash but watching your tutorial made a whole lot more sense now haha.
