I finally found the User's Manual posted in this sub-forum to find out what the different victory conditions actually are, as google gave me nothing, but I still have some questions.

What exactly do you have to do for an Economic Victory? The manual is kind of vague.

What's the difference between a Supremacy Victory, and an Elimination Victory?

Diplomatic Victory, Diplomatic Points aren't the purple stars are they? I thought they were Influence. Are they something different, and if so, how do I see Diplomatic Points?

Wonder Victory, I assume this comes at the end of the faction's main quest?

I heard and read really good things about the manual. Where do you down load it?

The victory cons are:

Elimination: Being the last faction standing.

Score: Turn limit reached and you're the one with highest score.

Expansion: At least 80% of the map is your color.

Economic: Generate a certain amount of Dust over the course of the game.

Diplomatic: Accumulate enough "Diplomatic Points" over the course of the game.

Wonder: Finish your main quest line, and then build a Wonder.

Scientific Victory: Research six techs from the VI era.

Supremacy: No one has a capital left except for you.

You can download it here, mate! Also, take a look at the Bestiary.

OK... So you cleared up my question on the Wonder victory, but I'm still rather unclear on the Economic, Diplomatic, and Elimination. How can you be the last faction standing without also taking all the capitals and triggering Supremacy?

Nice question! I wondered this myself. Regarding Economic and Diplomatic: I belive amount of Dust needed for Economic victory depends on the Difficulty and both of these conditions (diplomatic points and accumulated amount of dust gathered) can be tracked in the stats screen during the game. I don't recall how to get to that screen though.

Hah, seeing the other recent thread about how to hide the UI and the answer of F10 got me wondering what the other Fkeys did.

F9 shows the game stats, and how close you are to the victory conditions. edit; it's also a button on the bottom right of the empire screen.

So here's the less clear ones, and any numbers that are subjective, I am playing Cultists on normal difficulty and slow speed at turn 256. I could have won through conquest long ago, but have been playing around.

Economic; "To achieve this victory, you must have earned 944350 dust since the beginning of the game." In my game I'm at 12%.

Diplomatic; "To achieve this victory, you must have earned 5100 Diplomatic Points since the beginning of the game. Diplomatic Points are earned by keeping good relations with the other empires (Diplomatic statuses, Compliments...) and by investing Influence Points into diplomatic contracts." I'm at 25%, as is one of the 2 remaining civs, but I was extremely abusive to all my neighbors in this game, just buying open borders whenever I wanted to convert more villages.

Scientific only requires 5 techs of era 6, I'm pretty sure the manual said 6. Also the tech that you're given from the faction quest that enables you to build the wonder doesn't seem to count toward the 5.

I managed to trigger an Elimination victory when the last AI had his capital left as his only city. It triggered both an elimination and supremacy. So the difference is that Elimination takes longer. You could just bull-rush the capitals to get an easier Supremacy.

Thanks very much! I use to quit the game and reload just to see those graphs. Military one is especially important
