We kind of pulled a fast one on you yesterday with the early release. Sorry, not sorry! We had this planned for a while that if the community was successful with the ARG, we'd reward everyone with the game! There are, of course, other rewards that were specific to each step, but we'll share more on these next week. Now, for some eye candy...
This Early Access has been a blast for us, and apart from a rocky first update, we're very happy with how it went: the ease and speed with which you all took to our new Games2Gether platform certainly did help when it came to sharing feedback (have you seen that we've moved to the Beta stage on the G2G? Click the pug for details!). Endless Space 2 releases in a better form than ever for our Early Access titles, and we're incredibly proud of the accomplishment. However, this doesn't mean we're falling asleep at the desk (although some resting will definitely be involved this week-end, some of us had a short night), we're already back at it this morning. We plan on improving Endless Space 2 for the years to come, and give it the same post-release love our other games benefited from. For now, you can head over there and check out the patch notes.
This is the first time we’ve brought an Amplitude game in so many languages, and it was a tremendous undertaking! We hope you enjoy playing Endless Space 2 in your native language. We are aware that due to the highly specific nature of the vocabulary used in a sci-fi strategy game, sometimes the translation into your native language can be rather difficult. Nonetheless, we want to make sure that you can enjoy a level of quality on par with the English version, and you can help us reach that goal! If you find a translation that you think could be improved, please take a screenshot, go to the following thread on our forum, post a screenshot of the message, tell us what the problem is, and what would sound better instead!
We'll be giving away copies of the game on our Twitter account this week-end, so make sure you check in on it periodically! Of course, if you cannot wait or don't trust your luck, you can always get the game directly off Steam.
