I am in the exact same situation. My favourite games are done by these three developers; I have almost all of their games. :) I'm pretty hyped about this. I'm betting TW WH2 will win, by sheer number of players, but I'll put in an effort for ES2. :D

I LOVE TW Warhammer 1 and 2 but despite that, I'm handing all of my hours to Endless Space 2. Good luck out there!!

those experiencing issues with the webpage, may wish to just wait a few hours, it seems to be me that it was overwhelmed with people trying to register, i did have issues with a black screen, but after 2 hrs the page loaded as normal,besides the event doesn't start till the 14th.

So, the problem apparently was my Steam name, that uses [, ], », « characters, because Sega's webdeveloper didn't think Steam users might have those.

The workaround was to change Steam nickname to plain text. After that It accepted my email and allowed me to proceed.

Can confirm: It either didn't like regular brackets "(" and ")" or "@".

One could say... they're repeating the problem of the past; ES2 didn't work with such characters in EA for a while, too. xD

As much as I would love to have it, I don't have Total War Warhammer II yet. That will have to wait until I can afford it. Not really interested in DoWIII. Just not my style of strategy game. Hated CoH2. I loved the first CoH, but CoH2 went in the completely opposite direction to the DoW "hero's" style strategy that I just can't stand. Dumbed down, simplistic and ultimately boring. And I can't emphasize enough just how much I despise loot style mechanics in a strategy game. I'm sorry, but no. Gameplay wise designed too much for quick esports style competitive play. Just not my style. I vastly prefer grand strategy ES2/Civ V TBS or Homeworld/Supreme Commander/Sins of a Solar Empire RTS style strategy games. About as close as I get to fast style competitive strategy is Starcraft 1 and 2. In short. I'm deeply sorry Epic, but I greatly prefer your older games. I just feel like Epic has lost it's edge and become too much of a gimmick rather than a proper strategy game developer. They just seem like they're so desperate to create an esports hit, they've lost touch with what made their games great and what made them a great developer.

Did we just fail day 1 because they didn't count the entire day? In my opinion, if it started at 9 GMT then it should end at 9GMT, not Midnight. According to my math, if we had gotten those additional 9 hours, we would have gotten it!

That's odd, I'm using uBlock Origin too and barring the issues seen last night when the site went live, I can navigate without issue.

@Sublustris: I've passed on your feedback to Sega for investigation. In any case this shouldn't bar you from the ES2 content, the efforts of the community will unlock it (or not, but we're counting on you guys) for everybody.

Huh. At midnight GMT, for me at least, the hour counter bar stopped and disappeared. It seemed to me that the counter ended. And the logo for the Viking reward on MakeWarnotLove.com is greyed out with a locked icon over it.

But maybe we did! I guess we just need to wait for SEGA to give us, or not give us the reward.

I had issues with the site as well - for me, it was not a black page, it's just that the register button wasn't working. That was in Firefox. But I loaded the page in Edge, and that worked fine.

So perhaps trying it in a different browser will fix the issue the rest of you are having, as well.
