(Frigid crystalline sapients)

Peace... and harmony.  This race's bodies are part mineral and part ice.  They believe in pacifism (having poor natural reproduction) and moderation.  They spread slowly, and prefer trading for resources; they are naturally good at mathematical computation and have an edge in financial markets.  Although they have developed some military technology by trade, they prefer to use dimensional stasis bubbles to literally 'freeze' units and temporarily remove either their own ships or enemy ships from combat in impenetrable pockets of space.  They often use drones when forced to fight, but are genuinely horrified at taking the lives of others as well.
