Name: Ferrons.

Main Idea: This faction is concentrated on manipulating others to realise their own targets. There are more likely to talk than fight, and most of their army is composed from slaves and assimilated minors.

Lore: Ferrons are reptilian, bipedal race. There home planet, Quarra, is arid world, continously attacked by space radiation and electromagnetic storms. Ferrons couldn't develop electricity, so they focused on mind-base tech. About 100 years ago, they made first successful transcendention. Soon their race split to castes: transcendented intellectualists (rulers, diplomats, scientists) and untranscendented workers. Now, they are most known as sophisticated diplomats, but in fact they are merciless and cold-blooded slave masters.

Faction Mechanics:

-Main Trait: Transcendence-there are two types of population: Workers and Intellectualists. Worker requires food and has +100% to  and , but -50% to  and . Intellectualists must be producted using 1 worker and they have +100% to  and , but -50% to  and .

-Secondary Traits: Mind Gamers (-20% to  actions' cost), Slave Masters (double bonus from Minor Faction Assimilation,-10% to  cost of Minor Faction's ships), That's Not Me! (can use fleets composed only with Minor Faction's ships to attack other empires without war), Your Lord's Assistance (if you have fleet with only one ship of your race, it's still counted as ,,only minor fleet''), Slow Breeders (-75% to population growth), Slow Travellers (-50% to ship's speed), Military Decadence (+50% War Exhaustion when losing a battle without Minors' ship in fleet), Unexpansionists (outposts grow 25% longer, -20  in occupied systems).

-Population Bonus: +5% to  production in system.

-Starting Political Parties: 40% Pacifist, 35% Scientists, 25% Industrialists.
