Little issue in that you seem to be offering three choices but have only distinguished two. Your "faction traits" would work as empire improvements instead, but otherwise, cool theme!

Yes, that's right, there are two choices. But for the Riftborn (Continuum Sculptures), the first choice is different. That because technology of "barrenformation" related to Continuum Sculptures affinity.

Like unique improvement that give effect for all empire?

Yes, but it's not something you need to build (like technologies in Endless Legend, for instance). Don't forget to specify the first choice, option b is contingent on Riftborn being present in your empire!
