I'd suggest going with the first, since the 2nd is very reminiscent of the Endless. Keep in mind that only one suggestion is allowed, and that it'll need to be in your thread's title in order to be upvoted.

I find it weird to use earth language to describe folks from the Endless Universe. It makes sense if it's in English, because then it's an actual word describing that people, but it's something from greek or latin like in many other suggestions, you're just using inspiration from something that simply doesn't exist in that universe. 

Having said that, I do like your idea, because it evokes that "ghastly" and "aethereal" feeling (miasma is, after all, smell), and it makes sense. So I'd avise against it, but this one seems like a good suggestion, so I'm upvoting.
