Civ 5 expansion is it worth the money?

I saw the new Civ 5 expansion and I am seriously tempted to buy it (I liked Civ 5 not as much as 4 but still I liked it) however I'm not sure it is worth twenty seven dollars thirty without a steam sale. Can anybody give me some advice.

Well its new so it's pretty. I personally like Civilization 4 because it had more things in it. Civ 5 seems to be more simplified, which I don't mind but some hardeer fans would.

Those hardcore fans are getting appeased with the resurgence of Religion mechanics, personally I'm all for it.

I would wait until some reviews come out on it. If the reviews are mediocre, check SteamGameSales or others it will price drop soon if not by Christmas.

In my opinion, unless it is out-of-this-world awesome I will probably not be purchasing until it is under $10.
