I'm currently unable to create a custom faction due to a simple graphical error (pictured below) where the "Name" field either isn't being displayed or is buried underneath the "Author" field. Because of the Custom Faction prerequisites (having a Faction and Population name) there is no way I can create my faction (unless I'm missing something).
Is there anything I can do to fix this on my end? I've tried the usual reset restart nonsense, but haven't found anyone else with this issue (though I haven't been through all of the bug reports since I have limited time and I can't find any search options).
I will try reinstalling tonight once I'm done with my first Unfallen run and update this if it isn't resolved by then.

had the same problem i fixed it by:  going to options UI , setting user interface size to custom and the user interface scale slider to 0.90
