Closed Borders Bug!

I declared war with the Rift Born and I can't invade their territory dues to closed borders. They however have to problem invading my territory. It's become a one sided fight now. So is this a bug or is there a game mechanic I'm missing?

I have the same issue with the Cravers.

Declared war, positioned fleets to attack and then it wouldn't let me enter their territory because of closed borders

I loaded your save and couldn't attack as well, but as soon as I ended the turn everything was fine. Did you just break a truce to go back to war with them? There might be a turn delay there or something.
