The game crashes for me when I try to open the diplomacy screen.

Description

I discovered my first major AI so I tried to click on the diplomacy screen to interact with them (F8). When I do this the game immediately freezes and crashes.

1. Click the diplomacy tab

2. Game crashes

This happens every time I try to open this screen.

I also tried to start a new game and it happens on that save also.

Expected Behavior

The diplomacy screen is shown.

Came here to post the same problem. Appears to be a problem with the Mac version.

Same here on Mac OS.

The freeze is always accompanied by this entry in ~/Library/Logs/Unity/Player.log:

Receiving unhandled NULL exception
Obtained 30 stack frames.

Experiencing the same bug. Thought it might be a one time thing, but every time I click on the Diplomacy Pane the game freezes and I have to Force Quit the game. Can load the game again just fine afterwards.

Same problem here.   

Same problem here. It worked early in the game, but is a instant application not responding button now. It started occuring after taking ownership of the academy. (Though that could easily be coincidental)

Note, I'm on an almost minimal spec mac with an i7 rather than i5 chipset.
