My laptop is crashing before entering main menu screen since 1.0.5 using amdfix. Had no problems before this patch using amdfix branch.

My specs:

i7-2670QM 2.1 GHz (theoretically hha "turbo" up to 3.1.

8Gb RAM DDR3. Acer Nplify 802 11g/b/n

AMD Radeon HD6650, 2Gb VRAM.

Have no troubles when accessing game from my PC, seems with this game works finely whatever I do or however I access. Specs:

i7-4820 3.7 GHz.

16 Gb DDR5 RAM

Nvidia Geforce GTX750 Ti.

Both computers using Widows 7 64 bits.

Think is that one. at least my last file concidint with a crash

Having same problem.

Timeline: 

5/18 - was able to load & play game fine, but ship models were wireframes. After exit to desktop, attempts to start ES2 resulted in crash at launch.

5/23 - with beta patch 'fixamd', game loads as before; smooth experience but still with wireframe models.

5/25 - game again crashes at launch as it did 5/18.
