2. Bug description

Custom faction with Ship Bound Affinity and Lumeris Visual Affinity cannot build arks. The icon to build the ark will simply not appear (see screenshot).


I have tried switching the visual affinity to the Vodyani, the Horatio, and the Unfallen, while keeping all other faction and population traits the same. In each case, I could build arks just fine. 



3. Steps to reproduce

  1. Create custom faction with "Ship Bound" Gameplay Affinity and "Lumeris" Visual Affinity (I believe it is irrelevant what the other traits are).
  2. Start a game with this faction
  3. Click on your starting system
  4. Notice that the icon to build Arks isn't there!


4. Reproducibility

5/5 - Started three games with this custom faction and one game with all other faction traits removed (the ones that could not be removed were changed ie. home planet type). As long as the faction had the stated affinities, the bug would be present.


5. Expected behavior

I expect to be able to build Arks with this faction. Not being able to makes the game very difficult.
