Hi!

Today I was merrily walking toward the economic throne of the galaxy to sit upon with the Lumeris when, to my regret, the AI suddenly decided against it and froze into a seemingly endless state of encounter(s). You see, three of my AI controlled galactic empires simply sit there doing who knows what, while I try desperately, but in vain, try to cure their terrible affliction. I hope there is some sort of solution for this problem, or a fix later on, because problems like these tend to get on the nerves. Great game, but not flawless. I hope this save file will help you guys out so that maybe in the next patch I'll get to continue my economic domination :)... Have a good one devs!

Update:

I tried reloading earlier saves and placing a turn timer to try and force a turn end, but nothing seems to work. The AI simple stays "In encounter" and doesn't budge. I wonder...

I suspect it is not a bug, but E.N.F.E.R. will that found this only solution to deny us to raise our empire as The Empire :D Probably helped by the unfallen, as UE I can't trust speeking trees that use tendrils accross My galaxy :p

Same problem here! Im with vodyani, one of my scout is run into enemy forces, encounter comes up but it never end, and i cant finish my turn. I tried reload my previous save (i tried all of them) but its not working. Please look into it... it is a gamebreaking bug!

The more info they get, the more chance we have to get a patch that correct all the problems that lead to the pending turn/endless battle bug.

I am also having a problem with the "In Encounter" bug.  The problem apparently starts a few turns before it manifests itself.  I Press the End Turn button and it will not end turn.  I look and it shows an Unknown computer player "In Encounter".  I restore several times, same result.  Back up to a previous auto save, same result.  Go back several autosaves, It does not lock up on "In Encounter" but next turn it locks up with me "In Encounter",  all I was able to do by going back a few turns was to change the minor details (who is in the encounter), but it still happens and cannot progress the game from there.  Has happened several times now, so no point in playing till next patch.  I hate playing a game for that much time to have the equivalent of the chess board flipped over.
