Hot Pink screen tear

Expected Behavior

the main screen doesn't get a hot pink bloat on it after completing quests 

Description

1. normal main campaign screen

2. complete the siphon map quest

3. screen tears as you get vision across the map

 Reproducibility 

4/5 I tried it on two different campaigns.  It happened once through with the EU faction but it was just a small circle.  With my riftborn campaign, it tore a much larger hole.

Version

started on 1.06; I didn't see it on v1.05

I can't load a file; I tried to post a screen shot from the game.  I had to take a smaller shot of the tear

It would be helpful if you could post your hardware, because this looks like a graphics card issue
