Hi,

Last game blue Vodiany faction tried to invade my system Kratz, but I get rid of the invading fleet after some battle.

Strange that after killing the invading fleet, the gorund battle persisted until I could kill all their land forces, even if there was no fleet.

Screenshots and a save of the turn after killing Vodiany fleet:

That's not a bug; the fleet drops all its troops on the planet and deploys the manpower limit each turn.

So, this is possible to invade a system after the fleet has abandoned it? Ovbiously the fleet will depart with 0 MP.

This happened to me as well. My system kept getting invaded for about 2 turns after I killed their fleet.

Suppose they changed this after release. May be when they can get a rest, a explaining post will be good if this mechanic is changed.

It has been told.

Your fleet have X manpower and when you invade a planed that manpower is transferred from the fleet to the planet. Now your fleet have 0 manpower and have to return to your territory to get it back (It will regenerate turn by turn using the empire manpower so you need to have that income, if you have negative food or insufficient food the fleet won't regenerate manpower).

The manpower that were in the fleet It is now in the planet and will be like that until you invade the planet succesfully or It get defeated completely, So yeah, you don't need have the fleet on the planet once you have clicked the button invade.

Of course, It is not a bug.
