Description

Playing a game with the Sophos I lost all my systems to other empires but did not give up entirely, because I still had a single colony ship moving to a distant system.

After establishing a new colony I recognized, that I was unable to ...

• build any ship using the colony (see screen shot 1a) although the old ship designs were still available (and 1b)
• create any new ship design because no hulls were available (see screen shot 2)
• research or see any technology that gives access to any hull (see screen shot 3)

Steps to Reproduce

1. Start a game with the Sophos

2. Build a colony ship

3. Lose all your systems but not your colony ship

4. Create new outpost

5. Evolve outpost into colony

I have not tried to reproduce the bug yet

Expected Behavior

Being able to build new ships after getting a new Colony.

At least I can make use of the situation in this way instead of playing out the epic narrative, I had already built in my head:

The few Sophons who managed to flee in time from their home world just before it got conquered by another empire. Who start again on an distant world and then take back their home planet from those who took it from them in the first place when they are vulnerable, fighting against other empires ...

Or your dreams get crushed by a game breaking bug :\
