Research tree lockup in late game

Description

During late game turn I had queued and researched two different techs which were researched to completion. The proper number of turns had passed and the research que showed “No Research Queued”. Both “HyperPACs and Low Kelvin Sciences were finished but it was not possible to select a new tech for research. Note the image shows that the two researched items appear not to be researched.

Steps to Reproduce

Double que sciences in late game (turn 250 or later). Happened more than once to me but have no idea how to reproduce same with any regularity.

Expected Behavior

Simply select the next science to be researched and the ones just researched should not be locked as seen.

Save game would help them a lot! Are you sure this was not caused by an event?

Hi, 

Have you been able to research a new tech eventually?

It can happen in late game that, due to performances, orders don't go through at the start of a new turn for a few moments.

Also, could you please be a bit more precise in your steps to reproduce, this is the most critical part of us to find how to reproduce and fix the issue!

No idea on how to reproduce the button lockups other than to play a long game. Specifically I did the following.

1. Clicked on “HyperPACs"

2. Clicked on "Low Kelvin Sciences" 

3. played the required number of turns for the research on both to complete.

4. Game said the research was complete but I was unable to pick a new research.

This did happen again in another session and I was able to get past the locked buttons by clicking multiple times on one and then just once on the second button.

Not sure if this is the correct save as I have so many of them. Here ya go.
