Are heroes supposed to be unique? Or can multiple clones exist?

Indeed, there's an issue in your screenshot - Heroes are supposed to have roman numerals automatically appended to their names instead of purely being doubles.

In this case it should be Dmitri Lenko and Dmitri Lenko II.

Just for your further information, I have seen the lack of the roman numerals in the 1.011 patch as well for a different repeat hero (sadly - no screen shot).

Minor bug.  No hurry.    =)
