  • Summary / Title: Horatio - System colonised by 2 major factions
  • Description: If the system population falls to 0 and a free planet is available a competing faction seems to be able to also settle the system. Seems to leave you in a weird middle ground of having 0 control of the system but it still has your influence sphere and counts towards your overcolonisation as well as provide the happiness and revolt penalties even though another civilisation has full managerial control over the system.
  • Steps to Reproduce: 1. Colonise aminor civilisation // 2. Gene spice the population so the population on the system is 0 // 3. Have another player colonise a planet before another population point is produced on the system (I assume the bug will also appear if you were to 0 population a system in other ways as well)
  • Expected Behavior: The expected behaviour would be either the system would still be the players unless taken aggressively or that the system would be contested.
  • Version: 1.0.52 S5 Gold-Public
  • Notes  Actual result
    • shows up in my economy screen
    • has my influence colour and border
    • Planets have the colour of a competing faction
    • provides the happiness score and revolt debuff
    • 0 contol over the planet management (cant build, move population to, assign a govenor)
    • If i move a fleet over it I get a request in diplomatics to move the fleet trespassing
  • Attachments: Screenshots / Save / Diagnostics / Output logs / DxDiag

I am currently moving the active drives on the computer but will post this as soon as i can get back into the relevant save game.

It appears on the reload of my game that the influence sphere has changed to bein that of the opposing faction again. You can still see clearly that something isnt right with how it shows up in my system management screen and costs me even though according to the management of it the system is not mine and all the planets have been colonised by another civilisation.

Hi guys,

I tried reproducing the described issue on my end but everything seemed to work fine :/

If you have a save I could look into, I'd be grateful!

Thanks and cheers!

Hello and thanks for the save,

I looked into it and I did find traces of corruption in the Omdor system.

I'll relay the info to the rest of the team for further investigation.

Cheers!
