Description

The Event "A Clever Fake - Part 1" has a constant cost of 10  science for 10 turns (a total of 100 science). If this is discovered  later on (even turn 50 or so) then the cost is nothing compared to  getting a tech.

At this point I have only one tier 1 tech (cost 632) and the tier 2 techs cost 1011 and tier 3 cost 3793 science.

Paying 100 science is nothing for a random tech.

The cost should scale up with discovered techs.

If this would cost me a total of 1800 scince (180 science per turn) then this would be a gamble as I don't know if I will get a tech that costs 1011 or one that costs 3793.

It would also be an incentive to research the low techs from tier 1 so that I would not be getting them.
