Hey,

I haven't found any threads, but I'm getting this weird issue when viewing battles. Essentially, when the battle starts and the ships are coming out of warp, the viewer seems to hitch aand stutter. This results in some graphical effects like the warp plume not dissapating. It's as if the game is having trouble streaming in the textures, etc. 

Has anyone else seen something similar. I'm happy to provide data on request. I can't say I've seen this issue personally before, but I noticed Macsen who does some great lets plays on youtube experienced something quite similar in his Craver run.

I'm using a i5 4690k, GTX 970 and 16GB DDR3.

Exactly the same problem here! GTX 670, I5 CPU, SSD. Even on Fastest setting, I get exactly the same results. Gigantic lag spike at the start of the battle, warp plume not disappearing, and all battle effects don't play, so no missiles, lasers or tracers appear on screen (though they still affect the enemy, it's just boring to watch).

Does anyone see this, or have any solutions?

I also have this problem and it seems to happen mostly with craver ships warping in. It does not occur if my craver fleet is under attack and the other factions ships warp in, or if i click skip to battle when warping in as craver myself.
