Just noticed some issue with the Unfallen Fire and Light quest.

I chose the fire option which means I need to destroy pirates at a system. However while moving my fleet to the system, the system was colonized by an AI empire. And the pirates never shows up. Despite parking my ships there for several turns nothing ever happens, and I cannot progress from the quest.

Do you have a save ?

It seems that AI Empire destroyed your fleets. That's strange because it is supposed to validate your quest.

I posted a similar problem in the Game Help section. With Vodyani turn 130+ I'm still stuck on their very first quest to destroy a non-existant pirate fleet. As far as I can tell it's same issue as OP with the AI getting the pirates before I could. I even conquered the system with the quest marker. I'll upload my save.
