I just found out my Bhagaba give me only +1 Influence on Fertile, and only that. No basic pop bonus whatsoever, just a +1 Influence on fertile . Is that intended? I'm pretty sure they are supposed to give +1 Influence, +1 Influene on Fertile (+2 total). While we're on that note, Imperials - they only give +1 Influence, without +1 per fertile right? I tested the Bhagaba by moving them around and indeed they only generate influence on fertile, so I decided to report it here :3

Hi!

This is actually as designed - Bhagabas are not the strongest minor around, and as Influence is something we want to be quite rare they only have a contextual bonus. And that's the same reason why we deleted the contextual bonus for the Imperials, but kept the base one :)

Cheers!

Ah, I see! Thank you for the reply. I'm making a list of all factions' traits, planet and collection bonuses and gene splice effects so I'm digging around to make an accurate list for everyone to use. So it's good to have a dev confirm what I'm writing down so I know it's accurate! Would it be possible for you to help me out with some of the few missing stats and traits I've left? Through the xml files and replaying a custom game I've found the majority of the info, but I'm having difficulty with the 50 collection bonus on some of the minor factions, as well as some traits I'm missing.

The Mavros 50 collection bonus is -50% overcolonization penalty right? Also I'm having a hard time deciphering the effects of some minor faction unique laws - Pulsos, Eyder, Haroshem, Remnant and Z'vali, their in-game names and exact effects. I think I understood some of them through the files but I'm not entirely sure I got them right and I don't have the law names for them. Also, Happy Sardines Bill reduces overpopulation penalty by 100% right? I'm also trying to dig up the splice bo Sorry, I'm just trying to dig out as much info as I can before I make my post in the Game Help section :D

There's a steam guide covering minor factions, be sure to check that out! I've got it favorited as well as the guide for making custom factions you can access them easily using shift+tab from the game.

Oh, thanks! Actually that completes my work and makes some of it redundant I guess xD But I will still post the collection bonuses for everyone to use. Thanks for letting me know there's a guide!

Hi dobyk,

Sorry for the delay! Meant to reply earlier. We're more than happy to help out a bit on what you're missing, as you've already done quite a lot of work :)

The Mavros 50 collection bonus is -50% overcolonization penalty right?

That is correct!

So we've got:

  • Pulsos: Law: 10% of Produced Industry is added as Science
  • Eyder: Law: +10% Dust per Empire At Peace
  • Haroshem: Law: -20% food for Growth
  • Remnant: Law: +50% Strategic Ressources production
  • Z'Vali: Law: No FIDSI reduction under blockade

Also, Happy Sardines Bill reduces overpopulation penalty by 100% right?

Also correct :)

Don't hesitate to ask for more missing info!

Thanks Kynrael!!!

I actually managed to fill most of the stuff thanks to another guy's guide to minor civs, now I'm just missing the Unfallen gene splice bonus for Horatio. Also, I haven't confirmed this but splicing Sheredyn gives +30 manpower per pop, while splicing Mezari gives +3 science per pop right? If a Horatio encountes united emire unites and then the United Epire switches to Mezari or Sheredyn, do the original unites taken by Horatio remain UE?

Thanks for answering my questions!

Unfallen gene splice bonus: +6 Food

Sheredyn gene splice bonus: +30 Manpower Per Pop

Mezari gene splice bonus: +3 science per pop (It uses the Sophons traits)

Not sure what happens with UE Pops that are "Abroad" when that event triggers but I would assume nothing happens to them.

Thanks! All of this was very useful! I just completed my list, really happy to finally see it done! You can check it out here.
