Hello guys,

I can't save the game and i can't find anything that work on the forum.

Everytime i try to save the game i have this error:

"A serious error has occurred.
The application was unable to modify game files. It may be impossible to save or load games. If this issue persists, please check your antivirus settings and ensure that the application has Administrator permissions.
Sharing violation on path C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp "

I tried anything that is on this forum:

-Grant acces to the folder

-Start the game as administrator

-Reinstall the game

-delete the files

Do you got any clues?

Do you make use of any antivirus software (like Avast, BitDefender, Avira, i.e.) ?

Nop, i don't use antivirus

I had this!

Windows 10 installed an antivirus with one of the updates recently. Forgot what it was now. I had to remove the program cause it wouldn't let me save games either.

Check the taskbar in the bottom right whether you have something there. When you've got it, manually uninstall it. I use Ccleaner to do it.

Since I removed it, I don't have any issues.

It works!!

Hi Im necroing this post. Can you clarify this? I have the same issue with cant save file
