Ship movement - weird path finding

I am having a problem with the paths of the ships. This occurs only with nodes that the Unfallen has occupied with its tendrils. Please have a look at the picture. In this situation the ship starts in Duyel and I want to move it to Veni. The automatic pathfinding sends it first to RNGC 43278 and from there directly to Veni. I guess the shortest way would be going to Estre via the connection (white line) and from there through the open space to Veni.

I saw this very often, nearly every game with the Unfallen.

Celestial vines boost movement speed for allies and decrease it for enemies, so if you are on bad terms with Unfallen, it is indeed quicker to free-move, then to travel along vined starlanes.

I'd say that probably due to closed borders with Unfallen you can't jump directly to Veni from vined nodes, so you first need to move to nearest non-vined node, which is RNGC 43278. But then I'm not sure If you'd be allowed to move to Veni at all. Usually it's a citadel, that prevent direct warp movement to node, but citadel is absent in this case.

I did not know that the vines change movement speed from ships. That fact explains a lot of other weird path findings I had in the past. Thanks for this hint.

In the situation on the picture I have a bad relation with the Unfallen (I guess it is cold war) but I am able to enter the nodes. With the decreasing of movement speed in mind I would expect that the ship takes the direct way from Duyel to Veni through open space. For me the diversion via RNGC 43278 does not make sense.

Did you try to Ctrl+Right Click to Veni to force path?

I don't know this function but next time I will try that.

Nevertheless I still think there is a bug within the automatic pathfinding.

There's definitely something weird in the pathfinding in that screenshot. If you have a save of that or similar moments, please share them so we can look directly at the problem.
