Game eventually stops responding to commands ~80-100 turns in

Pretty much what it says on the tin. It varies from game to game when it happens, but it seems to happen inevitably. Usually saving and reloading fixes the issue, but now I'm at the point that even that doesn't seem to do anything. Please find attached my current save where the game doesn't respond to commands (move, attack, end turn, etc). AutoSave 1521.sav

Version is 1.5.3 S5 Gold Public. No mods of any sort and I have all of the DLC.

Thank you for the report. If saving and reloading usually fixes the issue, could I ask you to share a diagnostics file from a time when this happened? They are found in "Documents/Endless Space 2/temporary files" (and you will probably have to compress them to upload them).
