The disappearing tooltips bug strikes again...


Yes, we are very much aware of the issue. But since the bug resolves itself on restrating the game, and we have not been able to find a series of steps that consistently reproduces it, we have so far been unable to locate the root cause of the issue.

All i can say is, i loaded my hissho game, quit game, started a new game with empire, 10 adversaries, same map, normal settings. 


I will try to be aware of the steps, when i start a new game.

Yes, we are aware of both posts. I don't know if the one on Steam helped us get any closer to locating the cause, but the "steps to reproduce" here on G2G do not reproduce the issue on our end.

Confirmed, restarting gets rid of the missing tooltips.


I do think it has something to do with loading a game, quitting to menu and then starting a new game.

For me this resulted in tooltips disappearing again.


Too bad the bug cannot be located, it seems to me, especially for new players that this is quite an issue.
